Rena Kozak has been working in the music industry for over 20 years, as a live and studio sound engineer, musician, producer and tour manager as well as doing production for various International acts. She has worked in the studio and on the road with, Maggie Rogers, The Strokes, Operators, Wolf Parade and many more. She also plays music fronting the goth pop band “Child Actress.” She has worked at many studios including the Beach in Calgary where she taught in the recording school as well. At Studio Saint Zo she mixes and masters records as well as handling recording and production for various bands.
Scott Munro
Scott Munro is maybe best known for his work with post-punk band Preoccupations, where he handles recording and production as well as playing guitar and keyboards among other instruments. He has toured extensively around the world with Preoccupations as well as with many other bands including, Ghostkeeper, and Reuben and the Dark. Scott has worked at many studios including Calgary’s OCL Studios and Montreal’s Breakglass. Scott also worked for years as a session musician in Calgary, working mostly out of Lorrie Matheson’s Arch Audio where he played on records by Rae Spoon, Art Bergman and many other artists.
